I’m basically the most impulsive person I know. Interestingly, medicine is the one thing that never fails to give me a high. No matter what I do, most things end up boring me eventually, except of course medicine.
I believe that the key to understanding anything is just one quote by Albert Einstein : ‘You do not really understand something unless you can explain it to your grandmother.’ Yes it takes time to acquire that sort of knowledge and you might not get the highest in your class even though you’d spend a lot of time hooked to your books (that’s what happens to me all the time! ), what you learn is far superior to the knowledge those people have who orient their studying methods to achieve the highest grades. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no hater when it comes to those who get high grades. Pretty cool feeling, but it’s not worth it in the long run (Just my opinion).
So apart from being annoyingly opinionated and critical (sometimes even boring), I’m just another random student in the last year of her med-school, who loves writing, painting, photography and music (mainly grunge and indie, pretty much spent my whole childhood listening to Cobain).
